Lau Welnew Tribal School
The Senior Band along with the New Westminster Band will be rehearsing and having an in-house concert at the Lau Welnew Tribal School. We will be using the school’s gym, which is a stand alone building. For a map of the school, go to wsanecschoolboard.ca.
The itinerary is as follows:
9:00am GVCB arrival and set up (chairs, tables for food, stands and percussion equipment.)
9:15ish New Westminster band arrives and unloads
9:30 – Meet and greet, introduction of conductors, outline goals of the day (Which are: Have fun and play!)
9:40 – Warm up
10:00 – 11:30 Play music
11:30 Lunch
12:00 Warm up again and play some more
12:30 – 1:45 Mini concerts (approx 35 mins each)
1:45 Joint piece – Christmas Festival . . .because we can!
2:00 Good bye New Westminster band!
GVCB packs up and cleans up.
