Itinerary:
7:00am – Ferry from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen
8:45 – Travel to McBride Elementary by charter bus.
10:00 – Arrive at McBride Elementary
10:10 – “Official” welcome and explanation of day to participants
10:15 – Massed band assembles, rehearsal of massed band pieces
11:15 – break
11:25 – Continuation of massed rehearsal
12:30 – Lunch (provided by NWDB – that’s the New West band)
1:00 – Final session of massed rehearsal
1:45 – Set up for performances by each band
2:00 – Performance of several selections by each band
2:45 – Performance of massed numbers
3:15 – Closing comments and end of day
4:00 – Depart McBride Elementary by charter bus (Dinner on mainland?)
7:00 – Catch ferry. (We are unlikely to arrive at Tsawwassen in time for the 5:00 ferry, and there is no 6:00.)
8:35 – Arrive at Swartz Bay. Home!
